In her Instagram story, Courtney shared glimpses of her pregnancy journey, including pictures of her baby bump before giving birth to their daughter, Bradley Shay Bumstead. Reflecting on her birthing experience, she expressed awe at the strength of women, stating, “My mom filmed my entire birth… I watched it for the first time yesterday and WOW – I still can’t believe I did that. Women are incredible!!”

Throughout her story, Courtney acknowledged the unwavering support of her fiancé, the bodybuilding icon CBum, whom she described as her rock and source of strength. She also expressed gratitude towards her mother and her doula, Bonnie, for providing comfort and guidance during labor.

Courtney revealed that she was in labor for 18 hours, with the final stage of delivery lasting 2.5 hours. Despite enduring intense pain, she remained resilient with the help of her birthing team. She humorously recounted her experience of squeezing a comb for relief and joked about her daughter’s unconventional entrance into the world with her hand by her head, making the pressure intense.

In her Instagram post, Courtney emphasized the empowering nature of childbirth, stating, “Birth is not something to be scared of, is it intense? Yes. But it’s amazing and empowering and women are meant to do this! YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS!!!” Her words serve as a source of inspiration for expecting mothers, reminding them of their inner strength.
