Borussia Dortmund’s recent encounters with Bundesliga outfits have started to look like an exhibition match for Erlang Braut Haaland. All the headlines are being made by the young Norwegian striker.

And it wasn’t any different when FC Koln visited Borussia Dortmund at their Signal Iduna Park. Lucien Favre’s side thrashed the visitors 5-1 as the gathered momentum for yet another title challenge. While Marco Reus, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Guerreiro were all on the scoring chart, the star of the show was Erlang Braut Haaland.

Scoring was opened by Raphael Guerreiro in the very first minute. As the Portuguese blasted his shot in the bottom left corner. Marco Reus double his side’s lead in the 28th minute as his goal was awarded after a VAR intervention. The first half was over with a scoreline of 2-0.

It only took two minutes after the second half for Jason Sancho to get his name on the scoring sheet. The young Englishman finished the match with a goal and assist to his name.

Erlang Braut Haalnd Impress Again

Lucien Favre brought Haalnd on in the 65th minute. And as was expected, he was on the scoring sheet by the 77th minute with a close-range finish.

It seems he has found a liking to scoring multiple goals at Borussia Dortmund. As he scored his second in the 86th minute, that too from a really difficult angle.

Uth scored the only goal for the visitors in the 63rd minute. It was a fine finish bu Uth as he banged the ball in the bottom right corner from a tricky angle.

Although Erlang Braut Haaland made all the headlines, it was the old warhorse, Marco Reus who was the best player on the pitch. The German international finished the match two-goal contribution to his name.
