Jake Paul has been the talk of the town in the boxing community since he started his professional boxing career. The ex-Disney star has been making headlines consistently since he chose the path of the ring. Paul will face Tommy Fury on 26th February in Saudi Arabia. The Youtuber turned boxer fought against Anderson Silva the previous year, emerging victorious via unanimous decision. Paul has been proving his haters wrong and making his name in boxing.

At the same time, Jake is aware of keeping his fans entertained with his carefree and colorful personality. In a recent podcast, ESPN reporter Bomani Jones commented on his interview with Jake Paul and addressed Jake Paul’s evasiveness when he asked him about specific topics.

Bomani’s issue with Jake Paul over a betting company

In a podcast named NBA on TNT, Bomani is asked about his interview with Jake Paul, which came into the limelight. Bomani explained why the interview was not what he expected and gave the hosts insights on Jake Paul.

Bomani said that before the interview, he was digging into Paul’s betting app ‘Betr’ and had doubts about it. But when Jones asked him questions about the app, Jake Paul started acting weird.Interview was going real smooth until i started asking about his betting app. Then it got contentious.” Jones said.

Moreover, he added, There were just some parts of his operations when we asked real questions about he didn’t necessarily wanna answer. But for him, he is a social media dude viewed as a novelty.”

Bomani was not happy with the turn the interview took. He said that Jake Paul patronized him once he started asking about his betting app.

Jones felt disrespected by the Youtuber

Bomani Jones spoke about Jake’s boxing career in the interview. Jones said that Paul is at that stage of his career when he thinks he is a real boxer.He has figured out making 40 million dollars a year boxing fighters who aren’t boxers,” said Jones. According to Jones, fighting here and then is fine, but that does not make Jake a boxer.

Jones is not a fan of Jake and feels like he disrespected him on his own podcast. The “Problem Child ” failed to impress the ESPN sports reporter and instead did the opposite.
