American actor and restaurateur, Danny Trejo, is one of them. He believes Gervonta Davis is a “mini” version of Mike Tyson. Trejo, a hardcore combat fan, spoke with ESNEWS, saying, “Bad, he is bad…He had him. He had him by the 5 inches of that jab. But if you see Davis, Davis kept closing… Why do you think they call him Tank.?”. He concluded by agreeing with the interviewer that he viewed ‘Tank’ as a mini Mike Tyson.

Trejo’s comparison of Davis and Tyson might be valid. Both men burst into stardom at the very beginning of their careers and became world champions at a young age. Furthermore, Gervonta Davis also built himself as a knockout artist, similar to what Mike Tyson had done several years back. Although they reigned at different weight classes, Davis and Tyson reflect several similar features.
