The popular superhero movie Black Panther which is based on the Marvel comics just released its second edition, named Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film’s main character, Black Panther, was played by American actor Chadwick Aaron Boseman. Sadly, global cinema fans were deeply disheartened when Boseman lost his life in 2020 due to cancer. Fans all around the world still cherish and reminisce about his role as Black Panther, among other notable acting performances. Boxing legend Mike Tyson recently mentioned him in his podcast.

One of the recent episodes of the Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson podcast featured American comedian Sterling ‘Steelo’ Brim. Mike Tyson and co-host Leslie Jones were discussing the Black Panther movie with the guest and remarked about the phenomenal cast the movie franchise has.

As the episode progressed, Leslie Jones stated, “Chadwick was a nice guy too.” 

Tyson brimmed with respect for the late actor and said, “Mr. Chadwick.” Then Jones and the guest both referred to Boseman as “Mr. Chadwick.” They paid a brief tribute to the late actor out of respect and admiration.

The life that ‘Iron Mike’ has led has been beyond the imagination of most people. He spent a lot of time in juvenile correctional facilities since he grew up in an area where crime was prevalent from a young age. But he shifted his focus to boxing, which further turned his life around. He then met Cus D’Amato, who provided him with all the inspiration he required to succeed as a fighter. Tyson became the youngest world heavyweight champion at age 20, which made him the most revered boxer of his time. However, his later years—which received as much media attention as his heyday—included going to jail and filing for bankruptcy.

Despite all the consequences, Tyson bounced back as a fighter and is doing pretty well now. A limited series is being produced about his life, and Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx will be playing Tyson’s role. It is backed by Hollywood legends like Martin Scorsese and Antoine Fuqua. A release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but fans are already excited to watch the limited series.
