Former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, is one of the best Mixed Martial Artists in the sport’s history. However, he has retired from the sport and is seeking a new challenge in the boxing ring. 

Silva will face Alvarez’s former opponent, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., on June 19. The fight will be exciting as the 46-year-old is still fit. Now, ahead of the bout, the Brazilian has explained why he enjoys watching Canelo Alvarez.

The 34-11 MMA fighter spoke to Fight Hub TV and shed light on Alvarez’s last fight against Billy Joe Saunders, ‘The Spider’ said, “Amazing. Canelo is completely different.” He then also explained what makes Alvarez so good.

“Canelo [is] training hard every day. He has an amazing team and never stops training. And that’s more important. Because you need to make your dreams inside your sport. And make… every single day, you pass from a different situation, for make [getting] good success inside the ring. That’s why I respect, and I like to watch Canelo. Because he’s a very, very, very talented and very good fighter.”
