One of the most prolific female boxers on the planet, Claressa Shields, will return to the boxing ring after a 13-month layoff. She will battle Marie-Eve Dicaire in a super-welterweight title fight on March 5. A few months back, ‘T-Rex’ transitioned her focus to MMA and even began preparing for her MMA debut. However, she turned her attention to boxing yet again, as she had a mighty opponent and a highly rewarding fight.

Shields is focused on her boxing return and she even took some piece of advice from the former heavyweight king, Evander Holyfield. In an interview with FightHype, the undefeated boxer shed some light on her conversation with ‘The Real Deal’.

She said, “He’s a huge fan of me, he watches me box. I’d be grateful if he would be coming to the fight. I think it’s a great chance that he’ll be coming to flint to watch the fight.”
