George Kambosos Jr. has hung around the sport of boxing for a while. Despite him having an unbeaten record, it has taken him a while (19 bouts) to earn a title shot. That said, the Australian pugilist is one of the finest technicians of the modern era, and also, he’s an elite lightweight star.

Kambosos Jr. gives a rugged outing to any and every opponent he faces. But for that, he has to give it his all in his workouts and sparring sessions.

Did you know Kambosos Jr. was a sparring partner for legend Manny Pacquiao?

A few months back, ‘Ferocious’ opened up on this juncture and revealed how he became ‘Pac Man’s favorite sparring partner. In his first meet with Pacquiao, Kambosos Jr. gave his best shot to keep the Senator on his toes. That said, the young gun impressed Pacquiao, who asked his team to loop in the New South Wales native for his future camps.

Kambosos Jr. worked with Pacquiao for a while, and the two share a great relationship. However, the former isn’t working with ‘Pac Man’ anymore after the latter recently retired.

For the past few years, ‘Ferocious’ has worked tremendously hard on his skills alongside Javiel Centeno.

The Australian boxer trains at Centeno’s Sweatbox Boxing Gym. Under Centeno, Kambosos Jr.’s fight style has improved well, and he’s more of an oppressive boxer now.

With the hunger ‘Ferocious’ has, it’s safe to say he will achieve everything he is supposed to. His lessons with Manny Pacquiao will come in handy in helping him with this goal.
