Despite it not being official, both the fighters are hungry to get their hands on each other. This holds for Joshua, who’s waited for this fight for a substantial while. Recently, his promoter, Eddie Hearn, who was in a chat with Sky Sports, talked about how ready his fighter is and more.

He said, “I think you’re gonna get a different Anthony Joshua in this build-up. I think he wants to be in that trash talk environment, I think he’s gonna enjoy it… AJ will be going to war with Tyson Fury. He has plans to go in there and absolutely demolish him.” (h/t Michael Benson)

The unified heavyweight champ, Joshua, began his preparations for this fight after a thunderous win over Kubrat Pulev in December 2020. He wants to present his best self for the Fury fight, as this is his biggest opportunity to fight for the undisputed title.

‘The Gypsy King’ will be his toughest opponent to date. But ‘AJ’ isn’t letting his compatriot take over his head. In fact, as per Hearn‘s comments, it looks like Joshua will walk in with the most ideal and happy mindset for the toughest fight of his career.

Does Anthony Joshua boast enough skill set in his bag to annihilate ‘The Gypsy King’?

Anthony Joshua, who ranks among the most daunting heavyweight champions of all time, has employed his crushing power until now to smother every opponent he’s encountered.
