Eddie Hearn Gives an Update on Anthony Joshua’s Training Camp and His Future With Matchroom Boxing

Anthony Joshua is among the most cosmic fighters in the entire boxing world today. He has a vast fanbase that tracks his every activity, and ‘AJ’ keeps himself active on his social handles to interact with fans on a personal level.

The champion has collaborated with many brands in his extensive career. And one such partnership that abruptly turned fruitful for him was with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing. Joshua has been associated with Matchroom Boxing ever since he turned professional in 2013.

In fact, in 2018, ‘AJ’ extended his partnership with Matchroom for 3 more years and that contract is on the brink of expiring this year.

Recently, Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn shared his notion on the same and said, “I’m confident he is staying with us. There is a much deeper partnership that we are involved with moving forward and there will be a big announcement in the next couple of months.”

Eddie Hearn has staged all of Joshua‘s fights in the most prolific manner. Consequently, in a brief span of time, the hard-hitting heavyweight has become one of the top-notch fighters on Matchroom’s roster.

That said, Hearn seems confident about Anthony Joshua extending the partnership with his firm yet again, as there are even bigger, fights lined up for him in the future.

The 31-year-old is all set to enter the toughest fight of his career this year. He will contend with fellow Brit Tyson Fury in what fans expect to be an intense 12-round war for all the heavyweight titles.

There are no official dates announced for this fight yet. But with Eddie Hearn’s confirmation on ‘AJ’s training, it seems this fight will take place in July.
