In a recent interview, YouTuber KSI made absurd claims regarding a boxing match with “Iron” Mike Tyson. In his latest tweet, however, KSI changed his stance and blamed alcohol intoxication.
KSI is a British YouTuber who made his pro boxing debut against an American YouTuber named Logan Paul. The former won the fight via split decision.
Appearing in an interview with Sidemen on YouTube, KSI was asked whether he can beat Tyson, who is going to make his comeback in November this year. To this KSI replied, “I actually could though, I actually could. I’m undefeated, no-one has beaten me.”
“The reason why – age is on my side. Age is on my side,” added the 27-year-old YouTuber. “In the first few rounds, I ain’t going [all out].”
These statements made by KSI caused a storm on social media, and he was subjected to a lot of ridicule.
In his latest tweet, KSI said he didn’t want to fight Tyson and made the absurd claims while being intoxicated.
The tweet said, “Gonna kill this real quick. I don’t want to fight Mike Tyson. The man is a legend. You got trolled from a drunk sidemen video.”
The questions were asked in relation to the rumors floating around regarding the mega-fight between his counterpart Logan Paul and the undefeated pro-boxer, Floyd Mayweather.
Tyson might be 54 years old, but he is still “Iron” Mike. He used to be known for his viciousness in the ring. And going by the shape he’s in before this return, KSI definitely does not want any part of him.
