Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn has apparently taken a U-turn on his picks for the highly anticipated bout between YouTuber sensation Jake Paul and star Tommy Fury. The pair were set to face each other on two occasions. However, Fury had to pull out from both fights, leaving Paul to either find a replacement or cancel the event altogether.

Now, the two are set to face each other on 25th February and prove who is the better boxer. While Hearn is not directly involved with the fight, he was not shy to give his predictions for this upcoming bout. At first, he chose ‘The Problem Child’ to beat Fury via knockout, despite the rocky relationship the two have had in the past. However, he has apparently changed his mind on the issue.

In a recent interview with BoxingSocial, the British promoter did a 180 and touted Fury to win the fight easily. He stated that Paul would have no chance to win at all if Fury was the aggressor. Moreover, he added that the fight won’t last more than two rounds. “I’ve had a total U-turn. I thought Jake Paul was going to win. I think Jake Paul has absolutely no chance to win at all… If Tommy Fury comes out aggressively and puts it on Jake Paul, this fight will not go two rounds.

This was certainly a surprising statement from Hearn, who just recently picked Paul to win the fight. Moreover, the fans were also quick to point this out as they slammed the Matchroom CEO for changing his mind about the outcome.
