Unified super lightweight champion Josh Taylor may not be a huge fan of YouTube boxing. However, he appeared to prefer interacting with Logan Paul, as he revealed some interesting insights from their latest meeting. Meanwhile, Logan Paul has already been into verbal feuds with several professional boxers and champions.

But Josh Taylor seemed different as he approached the YouTuber and the pair ended up having a brief conversation. While Taylor is still relishing his big win over Jose Ramirez for all four belts, he connected with Sky Sports to talk about Logan Paul.

Recalling the meeting, Josh Taylor said, “We were just sitting there, chilling out in the lounge in the hotel and a couple of guys came through. Pretty sure that looks like Logan Paul and or Jake Paul and I was like pretty sure. Mel was also sitting there as well and no, that’s Jake Paul.

“So I just shouted 50-1 and like you know, he would come over because he claimed he had beat, you know, Mayweather. He come over and we had a chat and had a good laugh for 4 or 5 minutes.”

While Taylor is now looking for bigger moves in his title run, Logan Paul is also enjoying real stardom. Although ‘The Maverick’ has achieved nothing in boxing, his popularity and recent fight against Floyd Mayweather in the Showtime PPV have taken him to new heights.

However, traditional fans would any day consider Josh Taylor as a legitimate boxer before Logan Paul. While it was alluring to see two of them connect over a chat, they still have different places to hold in the sports community.
