Logan Paul had the biggest achievement of his boxing career when he earned a shot at the undefeated five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather in June 2021. Despite it being an exhibition, Paul traded blows with arguably the best boxer of all time.

In a chat with Jon Youshaei, Paul said, “People would ask me to go what’s after Floyd Mayweather? And with 100% absolute certainty I could say I in my mind, I cannot see past Floyd. To be honest, this is kind of dark bro. I was like I thought, I was gonna die that night. Yeah. I can always see what’s next for me.”

When Did Deontay Wilder Start Boxing?

“One, two, three years down the line, five years down the line. Ten years. At least a little bit. I hope in 10 years I have a wife, or kids, or family. I already got a dog, kind of a dad. But yeah, when people ask me about the Floyd thing, I couldn’t see past the fight. It worried me.”

Nevertheless, Paul shocked several people with his performance. He battered ‘TBE’ on certain occasions and departed with his head held high. It is something he will cherish forever.

Logan Paul earned Floyd Mayweather’s respect

Before the electrifying exhibition, most of the fans had envisioned Floyd Mayweather knocking out Logan Paul. But given the size advantage and the open weight guidelines, Paul turned out to be a massive force inside the ring. Despite all the efforts, Mayweather failed to stop him. As there were no judges to score the bout and as neither side secured a KO, it was ruled a draw.
