The feud between Gervonta Davis and Devin Haney keeps heating up! The pair have been making the headlines for weeks due to their heated verbal battle online. But the cherry on top was a clip of the pair sparring in Floyd Mayweather’s gym. Both corners came out on social media to express their account of what happened. However, at long last, Floyd Mayweather Sr. gave his unbiased opinion on what really happened in the sparring match.

After Haney defeated Regis Prograis in their last fight on December 9, Bill Haney accused Davis of avoiding a fight with his son. Whereas, ‘Tank’ maintains that ‘The Dream’ is no match for him. However, the truth of the matter was revealed by Mayweather Sr. in a recent YouTube video from Fighters Corner.

However, Gervonta Davis has a different account of what happened in the Mayweather gym. During his appearance in the Rize Podcast back on November 26, Davis claimed he nearly knocked out Haney. ‘Tank’ said, “I sparred him twice. The first time, his father took him out the ring. I almost knocked him out in Floyd’s gym. Did they tell you that?” With their sparring match in Mayweather gym aside, Bill Haney recently fired shots at Bob Arum!

Bill Haney claims Bob Arum is weaving false narratives

Not so long ago, the CEO of Top Rank suggested that the Haney vs. Prograis fight did not do well in terms of pay-per-view sales because of the timing of the bout. So, Bill Haney decided to express his thoughts about Aurm’s claim on his Instagram story. The father of the recently crowned 140lbs champion claimed Arum is weaving a narrative to hinder a fight between Devin and ‘Tank.’

“Don’t let Bob and his narratives be one more roadblock in front of the best fight in boxing,” said Bill. He went on to suggest that Davis has no other option but to fight his son because there are no false narratives left. “There’s no place else for Tank to hide or run. No more narratives can be created. The time’s up… It’s now,” said Bill.
