2021 has several boxing entertainers aligned and the Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley fight is one such elite contest on that list. Ever since its announcement, this bout has sent shock waves in the fight world, thus roping in casual and hardcore lovers of the game.

This fight will be Tyron Woodley’s first-ever pro-boxing outing, and the former UFC welterweight king is ecstatic for the same. Moreover, he’s already charged up for this bout as it’ll take place at his natural weight which is 190 lbs.

Talking to ESPN MMA recently, Woodley said, “For me, I weigh 190 (pounds). Are you kidding me? I’ve been killing myself making 170 for all these years. So now I’m gonna go out there, refresh, renew, and ready to turn it up.”

Woodley, in his extensive UFC run, ruled the welterweight division for a substantial period. In his time as the ultimate champ, ‘The Chosen One’ used his slick standup game and his fiery wrestling abilities to retain his belt. However, his concluding years in the promotion weren’t memorable.

As a result, Woodley got cut from the UFC. Shortly after that, he got lined up for his pro-boxing debut against the internet sensation, Jake Paul. With that, the MMA star turned all of his attention to his standup game. Tyron Woodley even cracked a workout session with the legend, Floyd Mayweather.

Additionally, ‘The Chosen One’, in his above statements, seemed happy with the fact that he’ll be taking on ‘The Problem Child’ at his prime weight.
