Jake Paul Considers Indian Boxer’s Callout Ahead of March 2 fight in Puerto Rico

Jake Paul’s popularity is breaking the boundaries and confines of the country’s borders. In a recent twist of fate, Neeraj Goyat, a professional boxer from India, has called out ‘The Problem Child’ for a fight. The update comes after Jake’s next fight was announced recently, scheduled for March 2 next year in Puerto Rico. The event will also feature Amanda Serrano defending her titles against IBF mandatory challenger Nina Meinke

However, Jake’s opponent hasn’t been announced at the moment, leaving fans to speculate who the opponent could be. Meanwhile, Paul turned to his Instagram story today to share a video from 18-4-2 Goyat, calling him out to fight a “real boxer.” While the chances of Goyat being his next opponent aren’t totally out of the question, there hasn’t been any official confirmation from Jake’s corner.

In the video, Goyat claimed he is the best professional boxer in India while suggesting all of Paul’s opponents are easy. The Chandigarh, India native went on to suggest that if Paul was a real American, he would accept his challenge. Alongside the clip, Goyat wrote in the caption, “I challenge @jakepaul for a fight. I request everyone to mention @jakepaul @mostvaluablepromotions @betr in your comments, and let’s make it happen.”

Paul decided to respond to Goyet on the post itself, as he commented, “Brother you too small. Walking around at 150 lbs? Maybe I tie one arm behind my back?” Also adding, “Any time any place” in a later commentEven Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions reached out through the comment section stating, “We have reached out to start discussions. Please check DM.” About 16 hours later, Paul responded to the callout in his Insta story with, “Please make this happen @mostvaluablepromotions.” While preparations for his next fight are underway, here’s what he said about the upcoming event.

Paul promises an event of a lifetime

According to an article from Boxing Scene, Paul stated, “Fighting for the first time at home in Puerto Rico alongside one of the greatest fighters ever, Amanda Serrano, promises to be the event of a lifetime.” He went on to suggest that he is honored to fight on the same night as Serrano, and is very excited to take the next steps to become a world champion.

“I’m honored to be the co-main event on Amanda’s homecoming card, and I could not be more excited to bring this historic event to Puerto Rico as I continue my path to becoming a world champion,” said Paul. Moreover, the event will have actor, boxer, and model Javon Walton and WBO junior flyweight world champion Jonathan Gonzalez.

While the boxing community ponders who Jake would fight next on March 2, ‘The Problem Child’ hints at Neeraj Goyat as the potential fighter. However, if that’s really the case is yet to be seen. Do you think Goyat will be his next opponent?
