Jamel Herring and Shakur Stevenson Exchange Verbal Blows With Each Other on Twitter

A day ago, the news of Shakur Stevenson fighting the WBO super-featherweight champ, Jamel Herring, sent the fight fans into a frenzy. This is the most intriguing fight of 2021 in the 130-pound roster and everyone is keen to see who is the true champ among the duo. Given the excitement around the proposed bout, fans have already begun picking their favorite.

The young gun, Stevenson, made himself viable for this fight by beating Jeremiah Nakathila in his last fight. With that win, he even claimed the WBO interim super-featherweight strap and strengthened his boxing stint.

Now, in order to the buildup for his fight against Jamel Herring, Stevenson has flagged off the war of words and has even fetched a response from the champ.

Taking it to his Twitter, ‘Fearless’ wrote, “Jamel you so dumb, I love the faith u got in yo team but They can’t fight for you dumb mf… They can tell you a million things to do But that sh*t not gone work”

Stevenson seemed firm in his comments, but Herring took the young force’s comments in a light manner. Yet, he did issue a fierce response to pipe down the 24-year-old.

‘Semper Fi’ wrote, “Whatever you say buddy. Glad to see you’re off the pity tour, we’ve missed you. Get back to me after the holiday weekend.”

Looking at the duo’s comments, it seems the rift between them has caught fire. And the fans might get to witness more of this online verbal banter in the coming days.

Stevenson and Herring are the two biggest fighting talents in the super-featherweight division. Both of them hold the ability to beat any given opponent, and that’s predominantly why they’re the scariest boxing technicians at 130 lbs.
