Moreover, this fight also saw Crawford defending his WBO welterweight title.

Terence Crawford vs. David Avanesyan: Knockout victory

The fight saw both Terence Crawford and David Avanesyan start slow by pacing around and deducing each other’s moves. However, things quickly turned around as Crawford took to offense. In the sixth round, he hit Avanesyan with a left hook-right hook combo, knocking him out cold.

It is worth noting that this was Crawford’s 10th consecutive knockout victory.

In the post-fight interview, Crawford spoke about Avanesyan, saying, “I was just warming up in the earlier rounds. I started picking up the pace, planting my feet. And I caught him with a hook. We knew what he was gonna bring to the table. We knew he was gonna go back and forth between orthodox and southpaw.”

Moreover, it is said that this fight might be a prelude to his fight against Errol Spence Jr.
