Mike Tyson is undeniably one of the greatest boxers to ever grace the canvas! So, when ‘Iron’ Mike names a boxer the ‘Mexican Monster,’ that’s saying something. Recently, David Benavidez went toe-to-toe with Demetrius Andrade, dominantly winning the fight via sixth-round TKO. After the fight concluded on Sunday, Benavidez decided to thank ‘Iron’ Mike via social media.
Turning to Instagram, the recently crowned Las Vegas resident shared a snap of himself with Mike Tyson. Alongside the picture, ‘The Mexican Monster’ wrote, “I love you Mike !!! Thank you so much for your support, @miketyson.” When the boxing world got hold of the picture and the heartwarming message, they quickly took the comment section to express their love for the two boxing giants.

While the rumbling in the boxing world is all about the potential clash between Benavidez and Canelo Alvarez, the recently shared picture caused the boxing world to divert their attention. Since the post went live on Instagram, it has collected over 51K hearts and more than 600 supportive comments.

One user suggested Mike Tyson is aware of the true face of boxing. “Mike knows you the face of boxing. Legend” wrote the user.
Another user claimed if Mike Tyson called Benavidez a monster, fighters would keep trying to avoid him. “If Mike say you a monster them Ukno it’s real dey gone start dodging you, even more, keep reaching greatness u p4p to us,” the user commented.
Someone else confessed about watching the Saturday night fight with his team, suggesting they loved the fight. The user wrote, “Me and the team watched and loved it!”

Mike Tyson: “I think he beats everyone he gets in the ring with. So I don’t have to say anyone’s name or anything.”

When the reporter questioned Mike if he thinks Benavidez could beat Canelo. Mike promptly responded by suggesting that ‘The Mexican Monster’ would beat anybody he fights. “I think he beats everyone he gets in the ring with.
