Mike Tyson Names the Best Division in Boxing, Calls It a “Mother***er”

Mike Tyson is one of the biggest attractions in boxing. The former world champion proved this with his comeback back in November. Despite being 54 and fighting in an exhibition bout, ‘Iron Mike attracted record numbers.
The biggest attractions in the sport, like Tyson, have often come from the heavyweight division. However, the former heavyweight world champion has now revealed the most exciting division in the sport.
The 50-6 boxer spoke to former lightweight champion Mikey Garcia on an episode of ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson.’ When talking about exciting divisions, Tyson said, “But that lightweight division is a motherf***er too. Since the beginning of time, the lightweight division has been a motherf***er. The lightweights, middleweights, and heavyweights. That’s how it started out. Those are the three divisions.”

Thus, these comments from Tyson showed his surprising opinion on the lighter weight class. And although he used a unique analogy, he made no secret of his pick. And while ‘Iron Mike’ also pointed out two other divisions, he then confirmed, “It’s just the best division. I think lightweight is the best division.”
