Rolly Romero and ‘Tank’ Davis are now all set to clash on December 5 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Leading up to this fight, there has been a lot of one-sided trash talk from Romero. He has been taking shots at the three-division champ ever since talks of this matchup emerged into the light.

From calling himself a ‘dwarf slayer’ to posting a video of him sparring a kid nearly a quarter of his height, the former WBA interim champion could be pushing it a bit too far.

However, Romero knows no bounds. He is extremely confident in his abilities and truly believes Gervonta Davis will be light work for him in December. Once again, a video of him taunting and taking shots at Davis has now surfaced on social media.

His recent video shows Rolly just casually kicking and punching a piñata version of his opponent. Towards the end of this clip, he looks dead into the camera, gives a wry smile while holding the head of the piñata with a picture of Davis’ face stuck on it.

What do you think of Rolando Romero’s trash-talking and pre-fight antics?

Is Rolly Romero just confident or a bit too confident?

Gervonta Davis had a tough last fight against Mario Barrios. Even though he added a new world title in a third-weight class by an 11th round stoppage against the 140 lbs champion, it was by no means an easy fight.

Even though Davis landed the bigger shots and ultimately ended up dominating the fight towards the end, Mario put up a tough challenge.

Barrios used his height and reach to his advantage throughout the fight. He tried to maintain distance with his right jab without over-extending through the first four rounds. Barrios attempted to block ‘Tank’ from entering the pocket.

At one point, it seemed as if Barrios was going to secure a landslide win; however, he began parrying Barrios’ jabs in Round 5; this allowed him to close the distance, connect better and ultimately win the fight.

Despite Davis proving he knows his way around the height and reach disadvantage, Romero is deadset on his assessment.

He truly believes in his abilities and is certain that he will knock ‘Tank’ out cold. Rolly claims that he has been chasing Davis since 2017 and now that he finally has him locked in, he is now looking to prove a point.
