Ryan Garcia put on an enthralling show against Luke Campbell on January 2. He continued his undefeated run by finishing the Brit in round 7 of the epic clash. Post that, his fans wished to see him take on other captivating opponents like Devin Haney or Gervonta Davis. But ‘KingRy’ already has a colossal fight on his mind rather than facing his supposed opponents.

Talking to ESPN Ringside, Garcia said he and his team are working on an even bigger fight than the Gervonta Davis fight.

“I have a potential huge bigger fight than him (Gervonta Davis),” he said.

“So I might put off for the side. You know I am still gonna fight him, but I wouldn’t fight him unless a bigger opportunity, but I can’t say anything right now. So I Am just gonna keep it at that.”

Garcia is one staunch contender in the modern boxing era. With his last win over Campbell, he bagged the WBC interim strap. The only fight that takes him closer to a title shot is a fight with Devin Haney. But since his last win, ‘KingRy’ and ‘Tank’ Davis have taken shots at each other via their social handles, interviews, and podcasts.

However, Garcia talking about an even bigger bout and opponent than ‘Tank’ has halted the enticement for the duo’s battle for now.

Was Ryan Garcia hinting at a Manny Pacquiao fight?

Over the course of his extensive boxing run, Ryan Garcia has expressed his ultimate desire to fight the legendary Manny Pacquiao. He always has words of wisdom for the Filippino Senator. The 22-year-old even compared ‘Pacman’ to Muhammad Ali.

Garcia believes this fight will mean a pure legacy for him, which is going to be bigger than any title present in boxing. However, if ‘KingRy’ wants to fight him, he must move up in the super-welterweight roster where the Senator competes at present.

‘Pacman’ hasn’t fought once in 2020 and seems to be on the final strides of his career. It will delight Ryan Garcia if the legendary boxer dances against him in the last fight of his life.

On a scale of 1-10, how much will you rate the Pacquiao-Garcia matchup?
