Following his recent defeat at the hands of Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia has taken a step back and is now looking to prove his mettle. After losing to ‘Tank’ Davis, Garcia confessed to his father how he felt ‘drained’ due to Davis’ body shots. He said, “Dad, as soon as I got in the ring I felt like my legs were gone, but I wanted this fight.” According to Ryan’s father Henry, this fight was something ‘KingRy’ had always dreamed of.

Meanwhile, Teofimo Lopez one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world, recently revealed that Ryan Garcia messaged him, asking him if he’s down for a fight. The lightweight champion has been active following his defeat at the hands of George Kambosos Jr. Lopez’s comments did not sit well with fans and a flurry of reactions followed.

“Ryan DMd me and everything,” said Teofimo. According to Lopez, Garcia is desperate for a payday. He also added that ‘KingRy’ contacted him after the Josh Taylor fight. Recently, Teofimo defeated Josh Taylor in a bout by a unanimous decision at The Theater at Madison Square Garden to win a junior welterweight title.

Teofimo’s words triggered the fans, resulting in fans telling him that they think Ryan Garcia has more money than Teofimo and he doesn’t need a payday.

One of the users honestly thinks Ryan Garcia makes more money than Teofimo.

A fan called Teofimo a “clown,” and thinks Ryan is a bigger sporting star than Teofimo. “Not gracious in either victory nor defeat,” added the fan.

Not just one but another fan called him a clown too and said he doesn’t care what Teofimo does in the ring.

Another user asked Teofimo if he isn’t desperate for a payday too.

But according to one user, Ryan Garcia should take it. It could be a payday. He could bring in some PPV.
