Floyd Mayweather and Beyonce are two of the most accomplished personalities in their respective fields. Notably, the two seemingly also have a great relationship as Money once came to the pop star’s defense after her controversial performance at the Super Bowl back in 2016.

In an interview with FightHype TV, the former five-division world champion discussed her halftime performance, which drew criticism for being too politically motivated and ‘anti-police’. Mayweather came to her defense and stated that she was a great performer and another entertainer would not have been criticized in this manner. “I think Beyonce, I think she’s a queen, she’s a drop-dead gorgeous woman, she’s a remarkable dancer, and she’s at the pinnacle. If it was anyone else, they wouldn’t have nothing to say,” he told the reporter.

He then praised her claiming that she would go down as a ‘legend’ in music and that she worked harder than any other female musician. “Very powerful woman, very gorgeous woman, strong woman, not a good entertainer, a great entertainer, and she’s going down as a legend. I’m never going to say anything about a woman that works harder than any other female in the music business. I will never do that. Absolutely not,” he added.
