A few days back, the YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul and the undefeated kingpin of the sport, Floyd Mayweather entered into a fierce tussle with each other. The pair met backstage after a press conference, thus trading substantial verbal blows with each other. However, the matter escalated when ‘The Problem Child’ tried to run away after stealing Mayweather’s hat.

This brawl captivated everyone’s attention. And many felt that Paul and Mayweather purposely did this to the buildup for their prospective fight.

But people associated with Mayweather didn’t feel that this matter was pre-planned. Recently, Mayweather’s longtime friend and Showtime’s president, Stephen Espinoza, gave his take on this entire scenario.

Speaking to The Pug And Copp Boxing Show, he said, “I’ve never seen him as angry and upset as he was after the “got your hat”.”

He continued, “You know, that was genuine. I don’t know everyone likes the conspiracy theories. Nobody on the Floyd side knew anything about it. And all you need to do is look at his reaction, which there is genuine anger there. It’s gathering momentum but even we underestimated it. It’s, it’s captured the fascination,”

In that tussle, everyone saw an altogether intimidating version of Floyd Mayweather. The latter enjoys staying calm and composed many times but he went all out against the YouTuber turned boxer.

Everyone close to ‘Pretty Boy’ were themselves staggered to see Mayweather livid with Paul over the hat. Moving further, in the above interview, the Showtime boss too agreed on this and feels that his anger was genuine.
