Not just for his fighting skills, but Lopez viciously mocked ‘The Dream’ for his trash-talking abilities. Teofimo Lopez never fails to go one-on-one verbal war with his opponents, and he feels Devin Haney is just not up to the mark with piping down his opponents before the fights. He cited Haney as one of those fighters who need a script to verbally spar with his opponents.
Lopez continued, “But it’s all right, we’re gonna help him out in the process.”
“He’s gotten out of hand and he got me going now. We’re going to start pressing him on it and me and my father already we’re all good on it. So I believe Devin Haney will be next.”
