Unbeaten WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford wants to square off against Manny Pacquiao. Following a spectacular fourth-round TKO win against Kell Brook, Crawford has once again proved himself to be one of the best in the division.

Riding on the 37 straight victory of his professional career, ‘Bud’ wants to chase greatness now. That said, he prefers to face the ‘Pac-Man’ over the other contenders. He has sought the contest several times in the past. However, it has never come close to fruition.

While Manny Pacquiao appears to be in the dusk of his career, Terence Crawford wants to test himself. In his recent post-fight interview, ‘Bud’ has called out the Filipino superstar for a challenge. It was not a heated call out. Instead, Crawford has hailed Pacquiao as one of the greatest, seeking a face-off against him.

Pacquiao hasn’t reacted to Crawford’s callout, but it has already sent the fight fans into a frenzy.

Terence Crawford is all ready for a show against Manny Pacquiao

After the showdown against Kell Brook, ‘Bud’ connected with Fight Hype.com to discuss some of his possible challenges for the future. He has billed Errol Spence Jr. as a legitimate challenge but reflected all his interest in Pacquiao.

Talking about it, he said, “I want Pacquiao.  I don’t know, Manny is a true champion. He has never ran away from any challenge anytime, So that is just him being the great Manny Pacquiao he is, you know. Fighting these young lions and beating two of them- Adrien Broner and Keith Thurman.”

Meanwhile, Pacquiao might opt for a cross-promotion fight against Conor McGregor on his return to action. Sealing two big wins against Broner and Thurman in 2019, hasn’t fought in 2020. Thus, there are a lot of possibilities surrounding his comeback.

Having held the WBA super welterweight title, Pacquiao is still an active champion. If he decides to appear against Crawford, it will be a huge fight for the fans. Crawford is already up for the fight, and Pacquiao needs to agree to the offer.
