Icelandic superhuman, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson AKA Thor is a multifaceted individual, to say the least, from moving ungodly amounts of weights to crushing mortals with his bare hands, he has done it all. As a professional strongman, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest strength athletes of all time. Moreover, he also transitioned into boxing and had an iconic showdown with fellow strongman, Eddie Hall. Meanwhile, a very noticeable feature of Björnsson is the glorious beard that adorns his face. A beard, which might in fact be, an ode to his Viking ancestors. However, he recently sent fans into a frenzy with a picture of his clean-shaven face.

Björnsson is one of the ambassadors for the men’s grooming brand, The Beard Struggle. He recently took to Instagram, to promote a few of the brand’s products. In a reel, he drew comparisons between his outlook with a beard and without one. The reel had a blink-and-miss picture of his wife and himself showing him in a white shirt with a clean-shaven face. And, fans were shocked, to say the least.

It should be mentioned that fans did not hold back from the responses after witnessing Björnsson’s clean-shaven countenance. In fact, a lot of fans took to the comments to share their thoughts.

Actor Dylan Sprouse was quick to point out, “Please add a jumpscare warning.”

On the other hand, Charlie Vernon-Hickey felt that a beardless look on Björnsson was blasphemous. He said, “A 6ft 9 Icelandic bloke without a beard? That’s just wrong.”

Meanwhile, Kadek Satria used their “spidey sense” to deduce, “Bruh that’s kingpin from Spiderman.”

A few fans were taken aback by his likeness to Dana White. Fitness F*ckin Freak said, “Dana White what?”

Similarly, K Dee mentioned, “European Dana White.”

But Zachary J Baker felt that the name needed a Norse outlook to it. He said, “Everybody saying “Dana White”, but it should be “Dana Hvítur” amirite?”

However, Ludigang commended Thor’s wife for dating him when he did not have a beard.
