Canelo Alvarez dominated Jermell Charlo and won by a unanimous decision, keeping his super middleweight title. Although ‘Iron Man’ moved up two weight classes, he failed to perform well in the fight. Charlo couldn’t find his rhythm for the entire duration of the fight, whether it was the weight change, recent inactivity, or the formidable opponent we may never know. From the beginning of the match, ‘Cinnamon’ controlled the fight. He knocked down Charlo in the seventh round and proved that he’s still at the top of his game.

Like always, Canelo’s family was in the front seat cheering for him. However, a peculiar incident took place when his family was exiting the fight’s venue, i.e., T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. What happened was the former NBA player Stephen Jackson tried to cut off Alvarez’s family as they were trying to leave the bout’s venue and then proceeded to scream at the security. However, the fans were none too happy with the NBA star once the clip of the incident got out.

A user, Steve Kim, who has significant followers on Twitter, posted the video. The caption was witty enough to grab the audience’s attention. He wrote, “Remember, when you’re at a fight, pleas(e) make way for Stephen Jackson and his family, you peasants!!” Not only did Jackson cut the line, but he also snapped at the security. Since then, fans have not stopped themselves from hurling censure at Jackson’s attitude. Initially, a fan expressed concern over Stephen Jackson’s aggressive behavior, suggesting that he’s out of his element and needs to be cautious.

One user argued that he wouldn’t have acted this way if the champion Canelo was present, implying a certain level of opportunism on his part.

Another user echoed the sentiment that Jackson’s actions were the representation of his entitlement.

Additionally, some fans even speculated that his behavior could be motivated by a dislike for Mexicans, although this is purely conjecture.

However, the consensus seemed to be that Jackson, who is almost 50, is acting immaturely and is essentially a “clown” for behaving this way.
