In preparation for his fight, Tyson trains regularly. Earlier today, ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ released a workout video where he put three free-standing punching bags to the test. Tyson uploaded the video to his Instagram account to promote the bag and the company.

Although the video is a brand endorsement, Tyson goes all out on all three bags to try to knock them down or get them to move outside a square marked on the floor.

Out of the three bags, one bag lasted only for 6 seconds, as Tyson hit it with three consecutive punches. The primary punch he used on the bags was his devastating right hand. This punch is one of the most feared, and one of the most powerful punches in the sport of boxing. Another bag lasted just 12 seconds as Tyson successfully moved it out of the square marked on the ground.

The only bag that survived the ordeal was the Fight Camp free-standing bag. After the challenge, Tyson said, “Hey this is Mike Tyson, and Fight Camp is the next level of training.”

Teddy Atlas recalls Mike Tyson in his first-ever fight

Teddy Atlas went on his podcast to discuss ‘Iron’ Mike’s first-ever fight. Teddy Atlas was in the gym assisting legendary coach Cus D’Amato when Mike Tyson began training with him. At just 13 years of age, Tyson was ready to fight. “By this time he was probably up to 195lbs/200lbs, he was 13 years old I think. How am I gonna find a heavyweight [his age who will fight him]?”
