We don’t know if it’s going to be an exhibition or a real fight, but there’s been talks of both. I would prefer an exhibition,” he said. This was an interesting revelation by Mayweather, as it was recently confirmed that he would be facing YouTube sensation Deji in a boxing match. Moreover, the fans were also quick to point this out as they reacted to this announcement.

One fan stated that it would be a shame to see Mayweather get knocked out by Deji before facing McGregor.

Another fan expressed that ‘Money’ should face UFC lightweight title contender Dustin Poirier instead of McGregor.

Moreover, another fan claimed that his plans will hit a roadblock after Deji knocks him out.

One fan even went as far as stating that Mayweather is ruining his legacy by fighting non-boxers like Deji and McGregor.

Furthermore, one fan pointed out that this fight made no sense as it has already been done before.

However, Mayweather’s entire career is based on taking the fights where he could make the most possible money. A second match with Conor McGregor certainly checks off the financial aspect, as their first fight was one of the highest-grossing fights in boxing’s history.
