Anatoly Sulyanov is undoubtedly one of the most prominent names in the world of MMA promotions in Russia. Sulyanov and his promotional company ‘Hardcore FC’ have promoted over 50 MMA events in Russia. And have created waves in the world of MMA through a series of intriguing decisions and explosive matchups. In fact, he was recently in the news for making an offer to the former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou. Meanwhile, it looks like he wishes to revolutionize the world of combat sports with his latest decision.

Sulyanov recently opened up about his plans for what he called, ‘hardcore boxing’. Notably, the decision involved pitting fighters from boxing and MMA against each other. He mentioned that he believes that this would be the future of boxing. And wished to incorporate the same into his March 18 promotion set to take place at The Agenda in Dubai. Talking about the promotion he said, “We’re going to make a revolution over the next five years in the industry of boxing.”

He also emphasised on why he chose to move away from traditional matchups, saying, “Nobody wants to see the classic Olympic sports, it’s already not interesting. Our minds have already changed. We need something fast, we need something flashy.”

Moreover, Sulyanov also mentioned that such crossover matches are financially rewarding. And gave an example of the PPV buys of the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor showdown.

Anatoly Sulyanov makes an offer to Francis Ngannou

Ngannou recently shocked fans when he announced that he will be leaving the UFC. As per RT, this was when Sulyanov made it a point to make an offer to ‘The Predator’.

In a video, he said, “So, Francis, I have an offer for you – three million dollars for one fight in Hardcore Boxing on March 18 in Dubai against my heavyweight champion Soslan Asbarov.”

While Sulyanov sent him a contract, it was reported that Ngannou hasn’t responded to him yet.
