WWE superstar Cody Rhodes will be on cloud nine after winning the 2023 Royal Rumble securing his spot at this year’s WrestleMania. Moreover, the former AEW star decided to bless fans more after he made a shocking appearance on YouTube sensation Logan Paul’s ‘ImPaulsive’ podcast. Despite the two wrestlers competing against each other with Rhoades even eliminating Paul to win the match, this was a great way for Paul to come in nice light. However, Paul’s best friend Mike Majlak was ready to make Rhodes awkward from the get-go as he thought his ex-girlfriend Lana Rhoades and Cody were related, sharing a surname. In addition, he pointed this out at the start of the show which led to a hilarious back-and-forth between the two.

At the start of the program, Majlak introduces him as wrestling royalty mentioning his father and stepbrother, who were pioneers in wrestling. However, he then adds Rhoades as Rhodes’ sister drawing a surprised reaction from the WWE star.

“Your family is royalty – dad is Dusty Rhodes, half brother is Dustin Rhodes – Goldust. And sister, Lana Rhoades.” said Majlak. Rhodes then immediately dismissed this claiming the obvious. “Who? The pornstar?” “I don’t think we’re related,” he said.

Paul then immediately tells Rhodes that Lana was Mike’s ex-girlfriend to which the ‘American Nightmare’ had a one-worded reply. “Great,” he said in a sarcastic manner. Moreover, this was not all as this hilarious back and forth became a highlight in the entire show and also drew in some wild reactions from fans

One fan pointed out that the two shared eye features as well along with their surname. “they both have blue eyes tho,” he wrote.

Another fan also claimed that the two looked very similar in terms of looks. “It’s crazy how similar the two look,” he wrote.

A fan praised Rhodes for the way he replied to Majlak after finding out about his ex-girlfriend. “The way he said great just made it funnier idk y,” he said.

Moreover, according to one fan, Rhodes was too shocked to even speak after hearing this. “Cody was too stunned to speak,” he wrote.

Lastly, a fan stated that sometimes no response was the better response. “Sometimes no response is the best response hahah,” he wrote.

The fans certainly enjoyed Rhodes and Paul’s co-host getting into a hilarious back-and-forth. However, Rhodes has bigger things to worry about than this. After being on the sidelines for months due to a horrific injury, Rhodes finally made his return winning the Royal Rumble.

Moreover, this guarantees his first major title shot at WrestleMania and will be the defining moment of his long and illustrious career. Rhodes was long seen as a mid-carder who didn’t have the charisma to be at the top. However, he proved that he was more than worthy of challenging for the title with many hoping that he becomes the new WWE champion at WrestleMania.
