“Or, I’ve Considered This, My Publicist…”: Logan Paul Makes a Startling Claim About Dwayne Johnson Cutting Ties With Him Following Japan Incident in 2017

YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul turned over a new leaf and learned to move forward from his mistakes. But those very mistakes cost him a lot of friendships, including his relationship with Dwayne Johnson. Paul recently opened up about the possibility of his publicist cooking up the story of Johnson cutting ties with him.

Paul was talking to Brian ‘Geordie’ Davis of the ‘True Geordie’ podcast. The duo was talking about Paul’s strained relationship with Johnson. Moreover, Paul also revealed that he ignored Johnson’s latest message. Geordie, in turn asked Paul why he did not respond to Johnson. In response, Paul said, “Coz I didn’t know what to say. I’m still stuck on the cold turkey. I’m still stuck on the hey bro, hey kid, I know we were cool, I don’t want f*cking anything to do with you. Delete everything that I’m in, connected to you. I’m still stuck on that.”

Further, he also mentioned that when Johnson contacted him four years later, he was at a loss of words as he could not forget the prior incident.

Meanwhile, Paul also brought up the possibility of his publicist having a hand in his strained relationship with Johnson. He said, “I’m still stuck here, and it hurt. And he probably didn’t even think twice about it. Or, I’ve considered this, my publicist made all of it up. In which case I’m an as*hole, because they’re supposed to protect him too.”

However, he also added the same publicist also reps comedian Kevin Hart. And his videos with Hart are intact.

Dwayne Johnson cuts ties with Logan Paul

Logan Paul has idolized Dwayne Johnson for a very long time. Moreover, he was also able to feature Johnson in a few of his videos.

Paul landed in a controversial soup after posting a distasteful video from the Aokigahara Forest in Japan. He faced a lot of flak from both viewers and fellow celebrities. In fact, Johnson, who was affected by the incident, cut ties with Paul. He even got Paul’s publicist involved requesting the removal of videos featuring both of them.
