The sporting world saw one of the most influential and greatest athletes of all time hang up his boots one more time. NFL great Tom Brady announced his retirement from the game after years of domination. However, it was not the first time Brady announced his retirement. His retirement broke a lot of sentiments, and left his fans heartbroken by his retirement news.

On previous several occasions, Brady had retired but came back again. However, this time, it felt different. Soon after Brady’s retirement, WWE 2023 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes would appear on The Bump and make a special statement.

Brady’s retirement on Wednesday brought an end to his long and successful career. However, it leads to The American Nightmare bringing up a special proposal for the NFL Legend. Rhodes claimed that he was shocked to see his retirement, but also not that surprised since time comes for all.
However, he further invited the former quarterback to WrestleMania and hinted that he might have a future there.
Brady’s former teammate Rob Gronkowski had previously made several appearances for WWE. He would then come out of his retirement and play for Tampa Bay Buccaneers alongside Brady.
WWE Fans were particularly excited at the prospect of Brady appearing at WrestleMania, and some even desired a future confrontation between Gronkowski and Brady.
WWE Fans react to Cody Rhodes’ proposal for Tom Brady
As Cody Rhodes appeared on WWE’s The Bump, he opened up on several things. However, the most interesting thing that he claimed, and caught the fan’s eyes, was his proposal to Tom Brady. The former Intercontinental Champion wanted Brady to come to WrestleMania, and have a future at WWE.

With Brady signing with FOX Sports to become an analyst, and since them and WWE have a partnership, I can see TB12 and Gronk being a part of WrestleMania as either the hosts and/or guest analysts if you will.

Although, not all WWE fans were thrilled with Rhodes’ proposal. Some were extremely excited at the prospect of the NFL player appearing at Mania. It particularly agitated others due to the fact that yet another celebrity would appear at WrestleMania, possibly taking up all the limelight.
The thread was filled with mixed reactions, and several people were against the proposal. However, except for Brady’s retirement, nothing else is confirmed, and fans now need to wait and see what is next for the legendary quarterback. While some expect Brady to come back to Mania, others expect him to come out of his retirement again.
