The best perks and aim assists to use in Black Ops Cold War

Perks are always important to give sniper players some advantages while competing against ARs and SMGs in Black Ops Cold War. For sniper-only modes, players can try Gung-Ho for switching guns faster, Tactical Mask for the Gas Grenades, and Paranoia for avoiding backstabbing from enemies. For regular lobbies, it’s better to swap out the Paranoia for Flak Jacket, to take less damage from Molotov cocktails and explosives.

Along with that, it’s also better to use Precision aim assist over the standard version. Standard aim assist is of little to no help for players using snipers. But with Precision, the assist slow downs your weapon that will help fans to lock on to their enemies. It’s also better to practice centering, which involves positioning the white dot of the crosshair on the target. This method is also better than dragging, which involves moving the crosshair after aiming down sights.

Best Classes for Sniping

For the Tundra, players should prefer the Stabilizer .308 as the Muzzle, Tiger Team Barrels, and 7 Round Magazines. Serpent Wrap as the handle is the way to go for all snipers in Black Ops Cold War, and it’s much faster than the Airborne Elastic Wrap. Marathon or Raider Pad as the stock is good for the Tundra as well.

Pellington 703

The Pellington almost has the same attachments as the Tundra loadout written above. But the weapon doesn’t need a stabilizer, as it doesn’t have a lot of sway. Like the Tundra, this loadout also uses the Tiger Team Spotlight Body and the Bipod Underbarrel.

Black Ops Cold War M82

This gun needs the Bipod Underbarrel because it gives a very good kick because of the recoil. It’s also better to use the CQB pad, instead of the Marathon or Raider Pads. It’s a very slow weapon, but it’s still good enough to use in regular lobbies.

ZRG 20mm

With the ZRG 20mm, players can use the Rapid Fire barrels instead of the Sigma Special because the weapon provides substantial damage, so it’s better to use the option that provides better fire rate. It’s possibly the most powerful sniper in the game, but players have to combat the slow fire rate.
