Massive Easter egg hunt site for Call of Duty Cold War, pawntakespawn.com, is back with another big reveal for the fans. This time, the site has revealed the hooded character in the game who happens to be William Bowman. YouTube channel TheGamingRevolution has debunked the Easter egg and uploaded the teaser:

Officer Joseph Bowman first appeared in Call of Duty Black Ops. Interestingly, American Rapper Ice Cube had played and voiced the character. Joseph Bowman had appeared in almost every Black Ops mission until a Spetsnaz Operative murdered him.

Joseph’s son, William, is going to be a prominent character in Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. This also confirms that the upcoming title is a direct sequel to Black Ops. However, William’s role in the game is not confirmed yet, and that paves the way to several fan theories.

“We’re not here to be nice”- William Bowman will not repeat his father’s mistakes

William Bowman mentions how one has to go through immense pressure on the battlefield. There are certain decisions that could mean the “difference between being killed or staying alive” and this is a choice that his father got wrong.

William’s mother worked at two places for the survival of her family. In the meantime, he spent a lot of time on his first-gen console and developed an interest in hacking.  He calls himself the ‘troublemaker’ who doesn’t know when to stop.

“My name is William Bowman. Joseph Bowman was my father…We still got a lot of work to do. I’ll see you really soon.”

The pawntakespawn website gives information on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and its Zombies mode. As a result, fans are confused about William Bowman’s role in the game. According to some, he might be the connection between Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, and we might see a rebirth event happening soon.
