Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War finally releases new weapon which accidentally showed up at the start of Season 3

It’s been a couple of weeks since the start of Season 3 in Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. The update was one of the game’s largest in content with a lot of major changes. This includes new items, operators, rework of Verdansk, and many more.

The new content for the title doesn’t stop there as the developers revealed the introduction of another weapon. But fans have already seen it after it was accidentally added to the game.

Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops set to receive new CARV.2 Tactical Rifle

In the most recent Weekly Briefing, the developers announced the launch of a new weapon for Warzone and Black Ops Cold War. The gun called the CARV.2 is a Tactical Rifle is a three-round burst weapon, which has a very high damage output with a good fire rate. It is very similar to the iconic G11 from previous Black Ops games. The weapon will arrive on Thursday with an in-game challenge if players want to earn it for free. They can also buy it from a store bundle if they don’t want to go through the hassle of grinding.

Although it’s supposed to release this week, fans found the weapon earlier, at the start of Season 3. A lot of players reported that they were able to find the CARV.2 on the first two days, in modes like Warzone Orientation. Other than that, it was even revealed that Black Ops Cold War players found it as a reward for the Trial missions in Zombies and Outbreak. Eventually, the developers patched it, and following that, fans couldn’t find it anymore.

Developers also changing Streetsweeper in the upcoming update

Warzone developer, Raven Software, also revealed its plans to balance the Streetsweeper in an upcoming update. The weapon has become quite popular recently, because of its high damage output. Other than that, it was easily available as it’s part of ground loot. NRG star JoeWo requested that it be changed on Twitter, to which the developers replied that they are looking into it.

Fans can expect more news about the other changes that will be introduced in the upcoming update. So far, the developers also have released no details about the release date of the patch. But as fans are already looking towards Season 3 Reloaded, they can expect them to reveal the update soon.
