Call of Duty’s battle royale is facing a backlash from the community for the lack of new content. This saw several high-profile streamers walking out while others continued to raise the issue. Right around the first week of December, Activision had made a major announcement of the biggest content drop with season 1 that also merged Call of Duty Warzone with Black ops Cold War. This move was seen as a welcome addition to the game that had been stagnating for some time now.

This changed the game on its head by adding a plethora of new content like a new BR map, weapons and a new Rebirth Island. The addition of Rebirth Island with a trio mode was a positive move that fans really enjoyed.

In a surprising move, the gaming studio revamped the island map and replaced the trio mode with a quad that sent shock-waves through the community.
