Yes, it is finally here! After long anticipation, Call of Warzone finally welcomes the two most famous ‘John’s from the Hollywood action movie industry. The 80’s Action Heroes event has gone live on Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, roping in John Rambo and John “Yipee-Ki-Yay” McClane to the battle. In addition to this, Warzone has got a lot of map changes to fit in with the lore of these two iconic characters. If you hear someone squealing in excitement, it’s us (and maybe Jake Peralta).
An official Xbox Blog post making the announcement introduced the two hosts (who need no introduction) of this event.
“Get John McClane in the Die Hard bundle in the in-game store from May 19 to June 18. This bundle includes the legendary operator, a finishing move, three legendary weapon blueprints — one tactical rifle, two SMG, and one assault rifle — a legendary calling card and emblem, an epic watch, and an epic weapon charm.

Even though these changes will be here for a limited time, these have got to be some of the best ones in the game so far.
First off, this event has replaced Downtown’s Broadcast Tower with a location that is iconic to action movie fans. That’s right, Warzone now features the Nakatomi Plaza, which is the tallest single structure yet seen in Warzone. This point of interest features multiple optional missions rewarding in-game content upon completion. Furthermore, players can even try to break into the Nakatomi vault and loot what it holds within.

“In homage to “Rambo: First Blood Part II,” 10 different camps around Verdansk have been converted into Survival Camps. Search these sites for loadout items and dog tags. Bring those tags to the newly established CIA Outpost in northwest Verdansk and you might just get some air support in return.”
In addition to this, there are literally tons of new gameplay items and elements for players to explore. Looks like this might turn out to be the best Call of Duty Warzone event yet!
