Only three weeks ago, Canelo Alvarez fought and defeated Jermell Charlo. However, the undisputed super-middleweight champion is back in the gym and his dedication has left the boxing world impressed. In his last bout, ‘Saul,’ was a heavy favorite going into the fight. Yet there were many who felt he was on a decline. Ahead of his bout, the 33-year-old himself acknowledged that he has not looked impressive in his last few bouts. However, he vowed to put on a stunning performance and he did just that.

The Mexican boxer continued his reign as the champion by defeating Charlo with a unanimous decision and even managed to knock down Charlo in the seventh round. A post was made by FightHub.TV, in which Alvarez is shadowboxing with a footwork drill. This video comes after his impressive victory against Charlo. Moreover, the fans were intrigued to see his dedication to getting back into training. Here are a few fan reactions reflecting upon the same:

One fan had nothing but respect for Alvarez for being consistent with his training and lauded his work ethic. He stated, “The discipline, this guy just had high altitude training and fight not long ago. Respect!”

Along similar lines, another fan praised Alvarez for being in shape all year round regardless of having a fight lined up or not. He stated, “Canelo is always ready and preparing for who is next.”
