Good news can’t stop coming in for Alycia Baumgardner! Days after clearance from WBC regarding her positive drug tests, Baumgardner turned to X (formerly Twitter) to flaunt $10,000 winning from wagers placed on NFL and NBA teams.

The Fremont area native tested positive for mesterolone and methenolone acetate metabolites on 16 August for samples taken before her last fight against Christina Linardatou. Baumgardner vehemently denied any wrongdoing and was subsequently cleared by the WBC on January 16. However, days after the ruling, ‘The Bomb’ revealed more good news of her winnings today!

$10,000 in one day for Alycia Baumgardner

Baumgardner places the wagers on 21 January, betting on the Detroit Lions in their match against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on Los Angeles Clippers in their match against the Brooklyn Nets, on Denver Nuggets in their match against Washington Wizards, on Kansas City Chiefs in their match against Buffalo Bills, on Phoenix Sons in their match against Indiana Pacers and few others. It’s worth mentioning that a ‘parlay’ constitutes a grouping of multiple wagers. In this arrangement, if one wager is lost, the entire parlay falls apart.

Conversely, if all the wagers are won, the subsequent prize money is bigger. In the same context, Baumgardner won it big, as evident from the screenshot of the withdrawal and recording of all the winnings. That aside, fans have wondered when and who Baumgardner would fight next. While there’s no word on when ‘The Bomb’ will enter the ring again, she recently revealed the only condition for fighting Claressa Shields.

Baumgardner states some “facts”

Shields and Baumgardner aren’t buddies, something she made evidently clear while appearing in a podcast with Shaq O’Neal. However, when asked about whether she was open to going toe-to-toe with ‘The Goat’ Shields, Baumgardner claimed it could only happen on one condition. She wants Shields to come down to 147 pounds, claiming she would move up to the same for the fight.

“Claressa can fight at 147. She said it before. I can move up to 147 and fight Claressa. Size does not matter to me – skills do. And I know that my skills are way superior [to] hers. Facts,” said Baumgardner. When further probed about when the fight can potentially happen, Baumgardner suggested, “I would say it can happen this year or next year. It takes two fighters. I’ve already said I would fight Claressa Shields. She can accept the fight.”
