Ryan Garcia vs. Shakur Stevenson; Crawford predicts
Both Garcia and Stevenson are around the same age and sparred with each other during the nascent stages of their career. There is also a significant weight disparity between them at this stage of their career. However, despite the weight advantage, Crawford thinks that Garcia would not face the undefeated fighter and deems Stevenson as a fearful opponent for boxers around his division.

In an interview with Dr. Boxing, he stated, “Ryan is a good kid you know what I mean. Just don’t see him fighting Shakur.” He added, “Ryan wouldn’t take that fight right now. It’s Shakur against everybody. I don’t think nobody would see Shakur in the division. You can say whatever you want, you can say he is boring. All these things about him but I don’t see nobody, just you know, eager to get in the ring with him.” However, Garcia would defer with Crawford, as he welcomes a fight with Stevenson. At least that is what he is letting on.
Garcia calls out Stevenson
After his recent win, in the post-fight conference, ‘King Ry,’ revealed that he welcomes a fight with Stevenson and tagged him as a hater. Reflecting on the same, he stated, “He is just been a hater since the amateurs, for real, and I want to fight him. I would beat his ass. I promise you that.” He remarked that his experience with him sparing suggested that Stevenson was a timid fighter. He added, “I have been in the ring with them. He is cool but he is scared all the time. In a pro fight, it is not going to work.”
