Jake Paul got his seventh victory after defeating MMA veteran Nate Diaz on August 5th. Back in February, Tommy Fury defeated Paul in their anticipated showdown. Now, reportedly, ‘The Problem Child’ has another pedigreed boxer in his crosshairs. The 26-year-old has been calling out Canelo Alvarez for a couple of years. But what about the Mexican champion? As it turns out, the undisputed Supper Middleweight champion is in no hurry to face Jake Paul. In a recent interview, he opened up about meeting Paul and seemed to have a condition if the two were to enter the ring.
Many would consider Alvarez to be in his fighting prime. An array of opponents are lined up for the undisputed super-middleweight champion. However, it appears that Paul is not on the cards for him anytime soon.

In addition, he revealed that if he were to fight him at this stage, it would be disrespectful not just to him but also to the sport. He felt Paul deserved some credit but not for traditional boxing. He stated, “I don’t disrespect Jake Paul. Whatever he is doing, he can do whatever he wants. It is not for real boxing, [and] my career, [or] a fight in my record.” Alvarez seems interested in facing Paul after his professional career in boxing is over. Many will favor Alvarez, a favorite due to his years of experience if the fight occurs.
