His son, Prince Jackson was featured on Mike Tyson’s ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,’ podcast. Amongst other things, Jackson revealed how the late pop star wanted him to be away from the public limelight. He unveils that Michael Jackson used to make him wear face masks so that his fans and the public at large would not recognize him.

Moreover, as time passed, his grandmother halted him from wearing a face mask every time he went out in public. He categorized living this life as being “normal.” However, Tyson wants anything but a normal life. The former Heavyweight champion is a larger-than-life figure and believes in extreme highs and lows. His conversation with Prince ignited several unique and intriguing reactions. Fans were fascinated to witness distinct perspectives of Mike Tyson and Prince Jackson

In the episode, Jackson gets candid about his childhood and living a private life. However, after his father passed away in 2009, he started to reveal his identity to the public. He stated, “My dad kept us out of the public eye. He wanted us to wear masks so people didn’t know who we were so we could go out without him and lead a normal life. But then after he passed, my grandma made the decision. She wanted us to be just normal. So she had us stop wearing masks.” In response, ‘Iron Mike,’ confessed that he does not want to live a life without any limelight or some sort of uncertainty. He stated, “I don’t want to be normal. I rather have a short life of glory than a long life of nothing.”
