Think of the biggest prospects in the sport. You sure would have Curmel Moton high up on the list. The 17-year-old, in a short space of time, has grabbed the attention of the boxing world. Rightfully so, he is young, undefeated, has an impressive amateur record, and most importantly, backed by Floyd Mayweather. However, with attention also comes scrutiny and that is precisely what the Utah-born boxer is now subject to.
In a recent turn of events, a fan online claimed that an undefeated Japanese prospect would be a real threat to him. Witnessing this, Curmel lashed out at him while making a startling revelation.

Curmel Moton on his unwavering self-belief
A user named @AccordToBoxing took to X. and asserted that Hayato Tsutsumi, a Japanese prospect with four wins and no defeats would be a threat to Moton. Just like Moton, even he has quite a decorated amateur career. The user even went to the extent of calling him Moton’s “Worst Nightmare.” The post read, “Curmel Moton’s Worst Nightmare Hayato Tsutsumi is a problem.”
However, Moton revealed that he had sparred with him in the past and insinuated that he had the upper hand in the duel. He stated, “I’ve already worked with him go ask around how that work went before you say dumb sh*t”

Just like Mayweather, Curmel Moton is outclassing his opponents inside the ring and has the confidence to boast about it. This leads to a question, what does his future look like?

What lies ahead for Moton?
Big dreams and ambitions. That is precisely the mindset of Moton. He wants to fight against the best opponents out there for him to get better as soon as possible. The Utah-born boxer has a quoted a figure roughly by which point he wants to become a title holder. He stated, “Realistically, I’d say about 13-14 fights, I should have a title by then.” He drew a comparison with ‘TBE,’ and stated, “That’s what I said. Floyd fought for the title in his 13th fight.”
His future appears to be very promising. However, his name draws polarizing opinions. On one hand, fans consider him the next big thing and on the other, not worthy of praise.
