“I’m Actually Excited”: Jake Paul Throwing Flying Knee During Photoshoot of His PFL Gear Gets Fans All Hyped Up for His MMA Debut in the Near Future

Nevertheless, Jake Paul might be making yet another leap in his combat career. No! It’s not his upcoming highly anticipated fight against Andre August. Rather – it’s his trip to the octagon that has fans all riled up with speculation and anticipation. 

Recently, the 7-1 Jake Paul announced his next fight on December 15 against a rather unknown boxer, Andre August. However, the possibility of his appearance in MMA has the fans asking for more. After defeating Nate Diaz in his last boxing match, Paul has desired to take him on a second time but in the octagon. While there is no confirmation about that clash, a recent tweet from IFN Boxing hints at a potential MMA fight. Naturally, when fans came upon the tweet, a frenzy of excitement took over the comment section. 

Jake Paul in PFL gear leaves fans with curiosity

In the recent tweet from IFN, Paul can be seen wearing PFL gear while throwing a vicious flying knee. Since the tweet went live on X, it has collected over 50K views, more than 500 hearts, and a whole lot of opinions. 

One user seemed curious about how Paul would do in MMA. 

Another user highlighted the fact that Paul was wearing the light heavyweight gear from PFL.

Someone else claimed not many fighters throw knees in MMA. 

The next user decided to compare Paul’s size with Tommy Fury, underscoring Paul compared Fury’s physique with a square. 

One user brazenly called Paul a “fatty.”

Paul wants to fight in the MMA ASAP

Fans would love to see Paul against Diaz in the Octagon, but the status of that fight is currently in the air. However, in a recent interview with MMA Fighting, Ariel Halwani questioned Paul about the pictures in PFL gear. Responding to Haldwani’s question, Paul indicated his eagerness to fight in the MMA. 

“To make sure that my headshots and we have some videos ready in case an opponent comes out of nowhere,” said Paul. He went on to suggest that an MMA fight is at the top of his list of priorities. However, the most important thing for Paul is that the opponent has to make sense. “It has to be a big name. But at the same time, it has to be a fight where I think it’s 50-50,” said Paul.
