Picture this: Tyson Fury, the two-time heavyweight boxing champion known for his fierce punches, is now sharing screen time with his kids. Instead of blood, sweat, and tears, the canvas is now about love, care, and playtime. No more ring-side commentators, only the unedited chatter of family banter. This is not a figment of a fan’s imaginative fantasy, but the premise of the upcoming Netflix series, “At Home With The Furys.”

The thought of Fury switching his boxing gloves for aprons and school runs is enough to make even the calmest boxing enthusiast raise an eyebrow. Known for his often-controversial presence in the boxing world, Fury is now offering an intimate look into his life outside the boxing ring. As the series title suggests, this isn’t about Fury the boxer, but Fury the father. An unexpected shift, indeed! But as it turns out, the unexpected is something Tyson Fury has always been rather good at.

Fans weigh in on Tyson Fury’s surprising Netflix series

The announcement of Fury’s Netflix series has stirred up a whirlwind of reactions among fans. IFL TV’s Twitter post has become a hotbed of commentary, with varied responses reflecting the polarization that often surrounds Fury’s persona.

Josh Goodwin expressed disappointment in Fury’s new direction, reflecting on how he used to admire the former boxer. “Used to love @Tyson_Fury. Then it became too obvious to ignore how much of a liar and hypocrite he is,” Goodwin wrote. His frustration is a mirror to the segment of fans who feel let down by Fury’s divergence from his previously expressed disinterest in such endeavors.

Meanwhile, Steve Spevack, who was expecting a different “game changer” announcement, responded with a touch of sarcasm. His comment, “Is that the ‘game changer’ announcement Frank Warren mentioned last week then?”

Leigh Garmory, on the other hand, responded in a more indifferent tone, simply stating, “Ahhh the big announcement. Can’t wait,” indicating a lack of excitement for the series.

GB quipped, “Outside the ring? He’s never in it,”

And Mckeown remarked, “His whole life is outside the ring these days,” reflecting a shared sentiment about Fury’s dwindling presence in boxing. Their comments underline the perception that Fury’s boxing career has taken a back seat to his other pursuits.
