A legend bigger than the sport of boxing and a human greater than life itself- Muhammad Ali is one of the most famous professional boxers ever to tighten their gloves. One characteristic which stood out from his personality was his caring and helping nature. The boxing legend used his persona and social stature to help the ones he could. His generosity is something that exceeds his physical well-being. And recently, his personal photographer has shared a heartwarming story of the legend.

Muhammad Ali’s photographer was close to him during his personal moments. It was not a secret that Ali was generous and left no opportunity to help the ones who were in need. He used his platform to educate other people to help the less fortunate. While holding back his tears, Ali’s photographer shared an emotional story of the man, just being himself.

In a resurfaced clip, Ali’s personal photographer shares an emotional account of the late champion. While remembering the story of Ali, he said, “Every day that we were there, there were beggars lined up in the hallway.” He added, “So he gave them a 100$ bill.” He could not comprehend the reason why the champ was giving away $100 bills to all the beggars standing outside. So he asked the legend about it. Ali being Ali gave an answer he would remember for his life.

Ali responded, “Because $100 here is worth $10000 at home.” Notably, Ali’s photographer could not help his emotions. He was in tears the entire time he was sharing the story while on video.

Ali and his Generosity

Even though he rose to prominence with his breathtaking boxing performances, Ali stayed at the top of the sports world with his social world and generous initiatives. A man who paved his way to the boxing pinnacle found peace in helping others. He worked numerous times with the Make-a-wish Foundation. He was named the messenger of peace by the United Nations in 1998.

His generosity was not restricted to borders. Ali traveled to North Korea and Afghanistan to spread the message of love and global cooperation. Ali never wanted to be just a boxer. And he used his fame and money for the well-being of those around him. Ali’s life is still rejoiced by many, remembering everything he did to help the people around him. His life and social work will continue to inspire everyone even years after his death.
